Redoing my bedroom?

In Dolphin Figurines Tagged , 2 Comments

AHHH!! I don’t know what to do! i’m redoing my bedroom and i’m trying to figure out what paint i want! i love art so i have several poster like van gogh, sullivan, raphael, monet, renoir, and blake. i also have a bunch of dolphin figurines and a bunch of cultural stuff! i have chinese, japanes, indian, and african (tribal and egyptian)! i don’t know how to make it all come together, but i’m sick of these stupid white walls! i also have a lot of medieval stuff and a new mist bowl which i don’t want to give up. i want the color to match the cultural stuff and the art or the mist bowl and the art. i really want a sort of calming, mystical room maybe a sort of gray or something. anyway i think i know what i want, but at the same time i have no idea. one of you guys probably know a lot more than i do so i’ll just say this: i love art, cultures, dolphins/the ocean, and that mystical foresty style that kinda reminds me of the elves from lotr minus the pointy ears. please help! im so confused!

ok, this might sound kinda crazy but i’ve seen it done and it turns out amazing.
so I would say just paint all the walls like a light gray or pastel green color and then on one wall decopase (spelling?) a collage of a bunch of pics and things.
This will take time and stuff but it turns out amazing. : )
    Good Luck!

Paint your room a Midori Green or Indigo Blue to dramatize your art work. Don’t go too dark or too light. Find a happy medium with color. If you want to only focus on your posters and art, just paint the room white. You can have so much fun redecorating. As for furniture, just go eclectic. Mix and match things you like. Overall, make it what you want to come home to every day. =) hope this helps.
