Lets kick off this post with the new Assassins creed 2 trailer. I don’t want to get in to all the details yet, but there are some things I do want to talk about.

The game takes place in Italy, during the Renaissance, which brings some cool stuff with it. The environment feels really good. The colors of the game are warm and intense which I personally like (I kinda hate those dark and gray games). Also you are now able to disarm your opponents and use their weapons against them. But that’s not all, you have a fancy new glider, probably designed by Leonardo Da Vinci himself

Now the gun is also a great new tool, unfortunately there isn’t much information about it. The only thing we know is that it is located underneath your left hand. Like you saw in the trailer it is very accurate so I think this is going to replace the throwing knife. There are going to be 36 new weapons in the game and allot of new assassination moves. I’m really looking forward to the new killing moves, like the one on the bench for example. Here is a screenshot of the gun:

The tree is white on the outside (sap wood) and dark brown on the inside (heart wood). Polishing accentuates the natural colour of the wood, while the finished heart wood ranges from brown to black, depending on the age of the tree.

Today, influences in hand-painted home furnishings are widespread, coming from as far away as the Middle East, Europe and South America. “We’ve seen a variety of items wrapped with ethnic-inspired artwork, from a sideboard with a soft, delicate floral print inspired by Eastern Europe to an Asian armoire with clean, simplistic lines and finished in black and red with the added touch of painted landscapes and pictorials,” says Babcock. “Painting styles vary from region to region. From the palate of colors to the brush stroke, every region has its own influence. The uniqueness of the hand-painted piece is reflective of the individual artist’s background, as well as their talent.”

Arhaus commissions gifted artisans from all over the world to give each hand-painted piece its own unique qualities and traits.
